We feel your wedding day is a day that should be captured from the bride and groom getting ready, to the last dance of the reception. Anything less would not truly be capturing this incredibly special day! There are no packages and "multiple" levels of services to chose from that often steer you to the highest priced package anyway because it's "such a great deal."
We want to capture your entire day. No cutting corners, which we would have to do if we limited ourselves to hourly rates of coverage. Our one and only wedding package covers up to 10 hours of coverage which is usually enough time to get those very special "getting ready" photos, too. And if it takes longer, we'll still cover you all the way to 12 hours if necessary.
We want to get to know you and learn all about your dream wedding. It's important that we get to know each other BEFORE your wedding day so that on your wedding day you feel a little more relaxed "being stars for the day" and being followed everywhere with our camera(s)!
This is why we feel it is important to always include an engagement shoot as part of our fee for wedding photography. Your engagement is a very special time in a couples lives. There will never be another time quite like it. The excitement for the future plans you'll now be making, not only for your wedding, but well beyond! It's a time of special celebration in itself. A time to slowly turn dreams into reality. Your engagement shoot is all about showing the world your love for each other.
From the engagement shoot you'll get a separate gallery (aside from the gallery you'll get for your wedding day pictures) of approximately 200 photos. The entire engagement gallery is available to download in full resolution. We then ask that you pick 21 of your favorite shots. We will print your favorite shots in various sizes from 5"x7" to 8"x12", with your absolute favorite one blown up to 16"x24". All 21 will be mounted on 3/16 inch foam core backing. We will then display all your mounted photos at your reception venue! The largest (16"x24") will be displayed on a painter's easel, usually at the entrance of the venue. What is great about these photos is they are ready to be displayed on your walls "as is" using double sided foam cubes (available at any craft store such as Michael's). They look great individually, or as an entire wall collage! They also look great professionally framed.
